Stool
In my advanced model building class, we were all assigned the same CAD file of a stool provided by the professor, (not designed by me) and had to fabricate it solely based on the CAD file. For this stool I picked out Zebra wood and had to mill, plane, join, glue, and finish it with oil. To get the depth of the seat I used a router jig to cut into it as a CNC would. The Metal Frame is made of Steel tubes and I created jigs to cute the miters on. For the frame I used a MIG welder. I completed half of this project with a broken finger.
